But with The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection it only has one entry and that’s the one for the base game. In a normal install each game has it’s own registry entry. Which shows SimPe looks for certain registry entries for the expansion and stuff packs. If You go into the folder where SimPe is installed and then go into the Data folder, There should be a file called expansions.xreg. It seems EA changed the registry entries for the expansions and stuff packs so now SimPe can’t find them.Įven if You imputed the correct install paths for the expansion and stuff packs they remained greyed out in SimPe. The base game is detected properly though. Just a word of warning if one uses SimPe with the Ultimate Collection that SimPe can not properly detect the expansion and stuff packs.
